Sheet details

Zones (levels, blocks, phases) let the workbook break quantities and costs down by location.

Rate library

Your classifications, rates and carbon factors, kept for every project on this device. Tick items to add them to this project.

Issue cost plan

Enter the real-world length of the line you drew.

Find text on the drawings

Searches the text inside PDF sheets (not scanned images).

Compare sheets

Overlay another sheet on this one. Lines only on this sheet show red, lines only on the other blue, unchanged lines black.

Takeoff Studio — quick guide

  1. Create a project and upload the plan set. Sheets are named from their title blocks; double-click a sheet to rename it.
  2. Set the scale of each sheet with a preset or Scale (calibrate on a known dimension).
  3. Press AI Takeoff to measure every room, or use the manual tools. Pick a classification first; new items go into it.
  4. Add unit prices (or pick items from your rate library) for a live estimate. Open the Workbook for rates, markups, zones and carbon, issue cost plans, then print the cost report.
  5. New drawing issued? Use ↑ New revision on the sheet: measurements stay and the changes are highlighted.
